Since 2000, PhysioStim developed electrophysiological models that investigate the potential of compounds with adverse cardiac effects.
Regarding ICHS7A and S7B guidelines, PhysioStim focuses its expertise on QT PROLONGATION and arrhythmias.

Indeed, our models are based on three techniques:

• Intracellular microelectrode assays: Action potential recordings
• Patch clamp in whole cell recording or perforated patch configuration: ionic channel assays
• Isolated Langendorff perfused heart: ECG and haemodynamics parameters

Our worldwide clients are the token of both our expertise and know-how internationally.

Before initiating any study, PhysioStim’s experts analyse your needs and requirements in order to offer you the best solution, ie the one which provides the most relevant model for you.
During the study, all decisions result from a close mutual exchange between our clients and our experts.
CDAs are systematically signed to ensure total confidentiality.

The design performed for a non GLP study (=“GLP spirit”) is basically the same except for the number of carried experiments, the concentrations tested (according to the Sponsor), whether a vehicle group is used or not and whether formulation of test article solutions performed or not.
